UL has been involved for many years in a large variety of NFC projects around the globe. We have developed an extensive set of test tools for mobile and payment markets that are used by many banks, mobile network operators (MNOs) and other parties implementing mobile payments.
Our test facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art test tool portfolios and automation equipment to measure and test functional interoperability. Moreover, our laboratory is equipped with an extensive bench of reference components, including point of sale (POS) terminals, mobile handsets and smart cards that provide a good representation of the market.
The functional interoperability testing provides you a thorough understanding of the performance of your payment solution in the field. This is both from a functional and interoperability perspective, with other devices in the field. Furthermore, your product will be tested against UL’s own test specifications, which incorporate a variety of use cases from around the globe. UL also supports you in issue resolution by analyzing the issue and initiating communication with other vendors, when necessary, as well as advising on the best practices. A complete overview of any risks with the roll out of the solution, and which mitigating actions can be taken, is provided.
